Ceva Poultry Sounds is the new podcast series from Ceva Animal Health. In this 1st podcast series, Marco-Aurélio Lopes, Ceva’s Global Poultry Marketing manager will discuss Gumboro disease with various experts, to improve the understanding of the disease, the impact it has, and the possible control strategies.
In the podcast series, Ceva Poultry Sounds will invite Guillermo Gonzalez, Veterinary Services Manager at Ceva, to discuss Gumboro disease worldwide epidemiology, and the different strains circulating.
We also invite Prof. Mattia Cecchinato and Dr Matteo Legnardi, from Padova University, Italy, to discuss the several studies that they are carrying out about the Gumboro virus, including the detection and sequencing of variants.
The last 2 episodes will be with Christophe Cazaban, Ceva’s Poultry Scientific Director, who will explain more about Gumboro Disease control, including how Gumboro vaccines work, and will conclude the podcast series with the effects of Gumboro disease in the field.
After all these shared insights, we believe you will be able to understand that the control of Gumboro disease should be our target, due to all possible losses already discussed, and prevention and control are absolutely possible when the proper actions are in place.
The prologue episode will be available on the 22nd January introduced by Marco Aurélio Elmer Lopes who will kick off the podcast series.
