The “Poultry Research Days” (JRA), an opportunity for poultry researchers and professionals to meet, will be held on 29th and 30th March, 2011 in Tours (France).
This French congress is organized by ITAVI, INRA and ANSES, with the support of the French branches of the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA) and the World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA), two international poultry farming organizations.
Each session will be introduced by a series of reviews dealing with topical subjects, for the most part the work of collaboration between researchers and practitioners.
The 12 reviews will be accompanied by 15 more targeted short communications. Parallel workshops will be organized around 83 presentations, allowing the authors to present briefly the reasons behind their studies and their conclusions, and to encourage discussion and debate. 63 posters will be exhibited for attendees to view during the breaks.
The WPSA will organize its general assembly, on 29th March at around 6:15 pm; this will be followed by a cocktail offered to all the participants to bring this first day to an enjoyable close.
Registration on-line only at www.journees-de-la-recherche.org, select Listing à Form.
