Alltech appoints David Byrne
Former European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, David Byrne, has joined the board as non-executive director of Alltech.
Key player
Byrne, who was a key player in the establishment of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC), will strengthen Alltech’s commitment to quality in the feed industry, according to Dr Pearse Lyons, director of the company.
