During its 27th International Animal Health and Nutrition Symposium, Alltech is looking to develop a new agriculture network that maximises technological resources for powerful new dialogue with urban consumers.
The Symposium, entitled The Game Changers: Creative Concepts for Agribusiness to Respond to Relentless Commoditisation and to Innovate for a Greener Future will be held at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, Kentucky., USA from May 22-25, 2011.
“It might seem to some as though agriculture is a slow moving industry, but the reality is that it is incredibly dynamic and agile. ‘The New Agriculture Network’ will be an exciting opportunity to learn from experts from several different industries and gather new ideas,” said Daniel Rice, strategic analyst for Alltech. “If social media can be a game changer in a presidential election, can it do the same for agriculture? What about how we communicate along the supply chain, are there new ideas that will further sustain the industry? These are just a couple of the engaging topics we’re excited to discuss at Alltech’s 2011 Symposium.”
