Alltech hosts ribbon cutting at Georgia facility
Animal health company Alltech has officially opened its new state-of-the-art office and quality assurance laboratory in Thomasville.
Alltech, along with members of the Georgia Department of Labor, the
Chamber of Commerce, Wentworth Building Corporation, and Florida A&M University, hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony at its 7-acre office site located on the Southwest edge of Thomasville.
“We’re looking forward to further establishing our roots here and becoming a part of the local economy.” said company president Dr Pearse Lyons.
Attendees received a tour of the facility including the Quality Assurance Laboratory, state-of-the-art offices and distribution warehousing facilities.
As one of 19 offices in North America, Alltech Georgia supports the agriculture industry in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi, with
the capacity to support 3 billion broilers.
