Aminal fat is back on the menu in compound feeds for non-ruminants in Germany.
The German parliamentary committee for Nutrition, Agriculture and Consumer Protection has applauded this change yesterday, the German agricultural magazine Top Agrar reports.
A definite decision will be made on Friday.
A ban on animal fats for non-ruminants cannot longer be justified, is the general thought. For ruminants, things are different and the ban should remain in place.
