Aviagen and Belpticeprom develop Belarus poultry

Aviagen and Belpticeprom reached an agreement to jointly develop the Belarusian poultry industry. The agreement was signed during a delegation visit from Belpticeprom to Aviagen’s Edinburgh headquarters.

As part of this agreement, Belpticeprom will become the exclusive distributor of Ross parent stock in Belarus. This is a ground-breaking step for the Belarusian market, creating a local production base to satisfy domestic demand for parent stock, says Aviagen.

Belpticeprom is ideally suited to become the producer of Ross parent stock in Belarus as they are investing in brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities in five different locations around the capital Minsk. The annual production target exceeds 1 mln parent stock and Aviagen will support Belpticeprom in the production process and provide extensive technical service.
