Aviagen Turkeys acquires Holly Berry Hatcheries

Aviagen Turkeys have confirmed the acquisition of Holly Berry Hatcheries, a long established business in the UK market with a significant market share and a reputation for high quality and excellent service.

Aviagen Turkeys, under the Hockenhull Turkeys banner, have a growing presence in the Farm Fresh and Specialty sector of the Turkey supply chain and the inclusion of Lincolnshire-based Holly Berry further enhances this position.

After a number of years growing the company owner Roger Finney has taken the decision to retire but will remain available to Aviagen Turkeys as an advisor to ensure a smooth transition of the business into the new ownership. Holly Berry will be run as a separate company to Hockenhull Turkeys under the management of Martin Shea, Managing Director of Hockenhull Turkeys.
