Avian metapneumovirus: diagnosis & prevention (2)

Avian metapneumovirus (aMPV) is identified in turkeys and chickens. In World Poultry Vol 23 No 4, clinical signs and epidemiological aspects associated with aMPV were discussed. In this article, field and laboratory diagnosis of the disease (or infection) followed by control and preventive measures are outlined.
