Beijing expects leading poultry vets

Leading poultry veterinarians and poultry health researchers from all over the world are expected at the 2007 World Veterinary Poultry Congress to be held from 10-15 September in Beijing.

The event will be organised by the Chinese branch of the World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) and has an impressive programme. Speakers from all continents will share their knowledge and release new developments in better managing emerging poultry diseases. Much attention will be given to avian influenza, but other important diseases, like Newcastle Disease, Mareks and Mycoplasma will also be discussed.
The congress will be held in the Jiuhua Grand Hotel, which is erected at the royal hot spring palace in the northern suburb Xiaotanshan, Changping District of Beijing.
