Biosecurity training contractor for poultry catchers

The Food Standards Agency is planning to appoint a contractor to develop and deliver a biosecurity training and education programme to poultry catchers.

The Poultry Catcher Training Programme will be geared toward developing high quality training to promote key biosecurity messages to poultry catching teams in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The contractor will be required to develop a suitable training package, based on key biosecurity messages from the Agency’s Cleaner Farms, Better Flocks Initiative, and deliver approximately 20 training seminars to poultry catching teams operating across the two countries, by 31 March 2008.
The Agency wishes to award the contract by 27 December this year, and would like to ensure full operation by 31 March 2008.
