CP Foods adopts Poultry Welfare Specialist Programme

01-04-2008 | |

Charoen Pokphand Foods has inaugurated a collaboration project with the University of Bristol to set up the exclusive advance course “The Poultry Welfare Specialist Development Program” for CP trainers.

It is reported that this is due to the company’s belief in the significance of animal welfare and the importance of raising the standards of all of its production to achieve “Kitchen of the World” status.
The 2-year course for 40 participants represents a very important step forward, says CPF Vice President Dr Payungsak S. Tanagul: “Such human resource development as this one is not only for each country and company but also for humanity worldwide and it could well lead to the expansion of EU and Thailand trade.”
