Ekopile opens poultry slaughterhouse in Bulgaria
Bulgarian company Ekopile has begun the construction of a poultry slaughterhouse and poultry processing plant near Ignatievo, in the coastal Varna area, Dnevnik.
Ekopile sales director Dimitar Yovev said that the EU’s SAPARD programme will cover half of the €10 million project tab.
The installations, fully compliant with the relevant EU standards, will be operational in early 2008, the company official said.
