This year, Kemin is celebrating their 50th anniversary. A milestone of this achievement is the opening of their new innovation and technology center in Herentals, Belgium.
The new facility has added an additional 1,700 square meters of lab space where future innovations for the animal production industry are being worked on. The laboratory space was strategically designed with an open environment to allow for teamwork across functions within Kemin’s research and development teams. The new facility also houses Kemin’s Product Application Department, supporting innovation across departments for increased efficiency.
“This new innovation center exemplifies Kemin’s commitment to continuously provide new molecular solutions to customers,” said Athanasios Katsanos, president of Kemin Industries’ AgriFoods division in Europe.
The new innovation and technology center in Belgium is just one of many research facilities Kemin owns and operates around the world. What started in 1961 as a small entrepreneurial venture is now a multinational corporation that operates in more than 60 countries. Kemin is a specialist in the development of feed additives for animal nutrition to improving intestinal health.
