Ukrainian poultry producer, Mironivsky Hlibroproduct (MHP) has announced Yuriy Melnyk as its new chief executive officer, following his predecessor’s appointment as First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration.
The board of directors of MHP has accepted Yuri Kosyuk’s resignation from the position of CEO of MHP for the duration of his political assignment and wished him well in his new important duties.
Melnyk was a First Deputy CEO and has been working for MHP since 2010. He has considerable experience in agriculture and he is fully involved in the operations of both the Agricultural and Poultry divisions of MHP. The Board has confidence in his skills and abilities to manage the Company and successfully implement its strategy.
Chairman of the Board, Charles Adriaenssen, commented: “The decision of the President of Ukraine to give Yuriy Kosyuk important functions in the Presidential Administration is a strong signal that fundamental problems besetting the Ukrainian Administration will be tackled vigorously. I believe Yuriy’s skills and experience will serve his country extremely well.
“I’m also fully confident about the future of MHP. Our new CEO Yuriy Melnik has demonstrated outstanding management skills and is prepared to take over the running of the company, supported by a talented and experienced management team.”
