New VIV initiative in South East Asia
VIV launches the VIV Animal Health & Nutrition Tour Asia 2008, a networking event aimed at key buyers in the animal health and nutrition industry. It starts with a golf tournament.
After the success of VIV Asia 2007, the markets for animal health and nutrition expressed their wish to be able to meet key buyers of the industry face-to-face on an annual basis.
VIV is meeting this demand by organising a new and exclusive event for the top of the animal health & nutrition industry in spring 2008: the VIV Animal Health & Nutrition (AHN) Tour Asia.
At this tour, a select group of 25 suppliers can meet face-to-face with both CEOs and opinion leaders as well as small and medium-sized buyers of Asia’s most rapidly developing markets, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
Golf tournament
The VIV AHN tour kicks off with the a golf tournament on March 8th in Bangkok, Thailand. For six days afterwards, the tour will travel through the capitals of Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Each capital city will host a one and a half day event, consisting of a half-day CEO conference and a full-day meet-your-suppliers expo with technical conferences.
Ideas into action
Every event starts with a late afternoon conference on the first day. VIV has invited three keynote speakers to give a 20-minute speech at each CEO Conference. A fourth keynote speaker will be invited by one of the participating companies. The conference closes with a 30-minute forum discussion.
Delegates to this CEO Conference will be top buyers, invited by both VIV and participants. Attendance to the CEO Conference is on an invitation-only basis.
Keynote speakers invited by VIV for the CEO conference are:
Nigel Horrox, (veterinary issues) – Optimising bird productivity
Darren Gedge, (food safety issues) – Maximising product safety
Gordon Butland, (finance issues) – Optimising financial strength
Meet your suppliers
The second day of each event consists of a tabletop expo and technical conferences, where interested visitors can meet the top 25 suppliers of animal health and nutrition products. Entrance to the meet-your-suppliers expo is free of charge.
