No more McNuggets, a 911 emergency

A woman in the US called 911 three times after she paid for a 10-piece McNuggets, only to be told that the outlet had run out.

With each call to 911, Latreasa Goodman reportedly insisted that the McNugget shortage was an urgent matter.

“This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn’t have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one,” said Goodman. “I called 911 because I couldn’t get a refund, and I wanted my McNuggets,” she reportedly said.

After the cashier informed Goodman they’d run out of nuggets, she asked for her money back. The cashier reportedly said that was not possible and the sale was final. The cashier told police she’d offered to give her a larger portion of food to make up for not having the nuggets, but Goodman refused.

McDonald’s issued a statement saying, “We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We will be sending the customer her refund, along with an invitation to return for her original order, on us.”
