Hanna Hamina, chair of the Finnish Poultry Association, delved into the details of a case study in Finland which showed for more than 10 years it has been without a need to medicate broilers.

Marcelo Lang, global marketing director at Chr. Hansen, discussed the power of good bacteria and how it enables poultry production to reduce or eliminate the use of antibiotics from an US perspective.

Elen Rondel, Europe-CIS poultry manager at Phileo, said yeast solutions, associated with a broad-based approach of farm management can help birds get more resilient and stay in good health.
