True to tradition, from 28-30 January next year, Atlanta, ?GA, USA will once more be ?the capital city of the global ?poultry business. Suppliers, producers and processors ?will meet in a professional ?business environment in the Georgia World Congress Center.

The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) continues to grow. The number of exhibitors now exceeds 1,100 and there is more than 400,000 net square feet in exhibit space, close to four hectares.
IPPE is now a collaboration of three integrated tradeshows: International Poultry Expo, International Feed Expo and since January 2013 this includes the International Meat Expo. The three together represent the entire chain of protein production and processing.
The event is sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), the American Meat Institute (AMI), and US Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY).
As usual, IPPE 2014 will feature the latest technology, equipment and services used in the production and processing of poultry, meat and feed products and will also feature dynamic education programmes addressing current industry issues.
Variety of activities
IPPE workshops and education programmes will be held from January 27 – 31, and will include the annual line-up of the International Poultry Scientific Forum, Pet Food Conference, and the Animal Agricultural Sustainability Summit. New for 2014 are the following educational programmes: Sanitary equipment design principles; New approaches to ground poultry pathogen reduction; Antibiotic workshop; How to export feed & feed ingredients to the US; Current issues for the egg industry; Media training for the meat and poultry industry; Poultry handling and transportation quality “Train the Trainer” workshop; Fall protection short course; Biosecurity – Revisiting the basics and implementing new strategies; and the Meat & poultry research showcase.
Back by popular demand is the AFIA International Feed Education Programme, the National Renderers Association’s International Rendering Symposium and the Poultry Market Intelligence Forum.
New to IPPE 2014 is the VIV International Pork Production Summit. This is organised in close cooperation with VIV tradeshow organisers VNU Exhibitions from The Netherlands.
Free educational programmes
IPPE is also offering a variety of free educational programmes for attendees. These offer a wide array of educational sessions covering meat and poultry issues, including food safety developments, customer and media communication in the meat industry, health and wellness trends, new products of 2014 and export and international issues.
