Progress Malaysia opens new facility

Agricultural supplier Progress recently started up a new facility in the far south of Johor, Malaysia. The official opening happened just before Livestock Asia, on 26 October.

The new over 9,000 sq. m facility, which includes a factory, warehouse and offices, will be producing 6 swine premixes, along with 4 poultry premixes and 4 dual purpose swine and poultry premixes.

In addition, the company manufactures a range of fibre glass silos ranging in capacity from 4 to 16 t, along with a fibre glass water tank, which has a capacity of almost 22,000 litres.

Agricultural supplier

The company is one of the largest agricultural suppliers in Malaysia and is made up of 3 divisions: Livestock Equipment, Biopharma, and Animal Nutrition. The company is an agent for several global agricultural players as well.

The group has a total of 75 employees, many of whom work on-farm, installing equipment and erecting feed silos.
