Approx. 5,000 residents of Taman Krubong Jaya, Malacca, Malaysia, have made an official complaint complained regarding the stench from a poultry farm in the area.

Reports state that the residents wanted the authorities to take remedial action. One of the affected residents said their complaints seemed to have fallen on deaf ears as they had been suffering for the past 5 years.

Another affected resident also complained about the “thousands of flies that were drawn to the chicken droppings”. He said the situation is becoming intolerable.
