Russian restrictions on poultry imports from Estonia
Rosselkhoznadzor, Russia’s animal and plant health watchdog, has restricted imports of poultry produce from Estonia.
Following an outburst of Newcastle Disease in Estonia, Rosselkhoznadzor has decided to temporarily restrict the import of live poultry, hatching eggs, poultry meat and all unprocessed poultry farming products, feed and food additives for poultry.
Ukraine has recently also decided to impose a ban on the import of poultry from Estonia, also due to Newcastle Disease, according to the State Department of Vererinary Medicine of Ukraine.
