Saving energy with AgLED lighting

14-07-2009 | |

US-based Next Gen Illumination introduces the AgLED lighting system. According to the manufacturer, the LED technology causes an 85% energy saving, compared to incandescent lighting systems.

AgLED lamps have been engineered to meet the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Science (ASABE) standards for broiler house operations, and have a 35,000 hour life expectancy.

The dimming technology allows AgLED lamps when dimmed to both extend the life expectancy of the lamps and reduce energy consumption.

AgLED Poultry lights require no additional wiring during installation. The standard lamp replacement uses standard light sockets for operation. The AgLED is designed for typical broiler house operations.
