Staalkat International joins the SANOVO family
To fulfill the increasing demands of the customers for equipments and services in the egg laying, handling and processing industry Staalkat International has joined the SANOVO family.
The announcement was made by Mr. Thor Stadil, president of Sanovo Engineering, at VIV Europe 2006 on May 16.
Staalkat – established in 1956 and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year – has been one of the market leaders in egg grading and packing in the period since establishment. “In the present global market a global presence is vital, and therefore we decided to team up with a partner in order to increase the speed of market penetration,” said Staalkat MD Pedro Wiggers.
Having representations in the major egg producing and consuming markets SANOVO Engineering has realised the need to supply a wide range of products not only for the egg processing industry, but also for the complimentary egg packing and grading industry.
“This makes Staalkat and SANOVO Engineering a nice fit. By joining forces we expect sustainable competitive advantages for both companies as well as for their customers. The companies combined are now the worlds only turnkey suppliers of egg packing, grading, breaking and further processing equipment distributed through a global sales and service network,” Stadil said.
