Quality was key at the first edition of VIV India, held 1-3 November in New Delhi. In three days time, 3,339 visitors passed through the doors of VIV India 2007.

Of all the visitors, 83% were Indian livestock professionals looking for solutions for prevention, efficiency and processing.
The 115 exhibitors from 23 countries also met international delegations from countries such as Iran, Korea and Russia, resulting in a total 577 international visitors. Visitors rated their visit to VIV India with an average of 7.8 and exhibitors with 6.5 – both of which are good results for a first time trade show.
High-quality conference programme
Chief Guest Honourable Prof. V.L. Chopra, Govt. of India, in charge of the Indian livestock industry, officially opened the show. The Opening Conference of VIV India was attended by several other dignitaries of the Indian government and institutions.
Rabobank chose VIV India 2007 as its platform to officially present the report “Challenges and Opportunities in the Indian Animal Protein Market”. This Rabobank report is the first of its nature about the Indian markets for poultry, dairy and aquaculture production supported by facts & figures.
The first copy of the report was presented to Chief Guest Honourable Prof. V.L. Chopra. The high-quality content presented during the conferences marked VIV India as a strong platform for education.
