Symposium: the future of the poultry industry

The national and international poultry and rabbit farming industries will meet at Fieravicola, Fiera di Forlì’s most important trade fair and the only one specialised in this sector from 26-29 September, 2007.

This is the first biennial Fieravicola. The symposium, with a strong international focus, will involve operators from west European distribution as well as those from the east European and Mediterranean poultry and rabbit farming sectors.
The central focus on Thursday, 27 September will be an on the future of the poultry industry and its prospects up until 2015 . The symposium, with the confirmed participation in Forlì of a number of high- level international experts in the field, will be an opportunity to discuss issues such as globalisation, quality, emerging markets, consumption and distribution.
On Friday, 28 September, Centuria RIT, Scientific Technological Park has organised an international technical seminar on the topic of “Innovation in poultry/rabbit feeding” , one of the main factors determining poultry/rabbit farms’ competitiveness and an area in which innovation plays a fundamental role.
The project of internationalising Fieravicola will place Forlì at the centre of a broad network of international relationships.
Fieravicola’s extensive conference schedule will provide a forum for important business meetings between entrepreneurs, economic and scientific professionals, marketing experts, and institutional representatives. 
Fieravicola will also be hosting the entire production cycle: farms, hatcheries, feed manufacturers, equipment and installations (for farms, slaughterhouses, processing, and packaging) transport and logistics, packaging, pharmaceuticals, of course the national leaders of finished and processed product, and the entire egg sector.
