US: Increase in turkey production

US turkey production has increased 3.2% for the first six months of 2007, compared with the same period in 2006.

This increase in production has resulted in a total of 2.88 billion pounds being produced, according to the USDA Livestock, Dairy & Poultry Outlook report.
The USDA forecasts a 1.7% increase in turkey meat production for the second half of 2007, compared to January to end June 2006.
