US pledges US$320 mln to fight AI
The US has pledged to provide an additional US$320 mln dollars for the global fight against bird flu.
Undersecretary of State Paula Dobriansky recently made this announcement at the Int’l Ministerial Conference on AI, which took place from 24-26 Oct in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
This pledge brings to total about US$950 mln contribution to fight avian influenza.
