The 2009 Women’s Leadership Conference sponsored by U.S. Poultry & Egg Association’s Poultry & Egg Institute will examine the tools and techniques that enable women to sharpen and apply their leadership and management skills.

The Conference will be held 22-23 October at the Sandestin Hilton in Destin, FL, USA. The conference is.

“The seminar will provide a valuable learning experience and an informative outlook on skills and abilities vital for career advancement,” said programme committee chairperson Sandy Bishop, Perdue Farms Inc. “The programme will provide an array of topics to inspire women toward increased leadership and management roles in their companies. Also, this is a great opportunity for women in the industry to interact and learn from one another,” she added.

The conference will cover several leadership topics, including Leading and Thriving through Change, A CEO’s Perspective of Women in Leadership Roles, Mentoring Programmes in the Workplace, and Leadership . . . Inspiring Oneself and Others.
