The 24th World Poultry Congress (WPC 2012) will extend the deadline for submission of best scientific abstracts to January 31st.
Submissions were opened on September, 2011, and would be closed on January 13th, but now the students and researchers that were no able to register their abstracts on time will have another opportunity to participate in this event, which is considered the most important of the poultry industry.
Those interested should register their abstracts in one of the three following categories determined by the organisation of the WPC 2012: Student Program: aimed at under-graduate and graduate students up to 30 years old. Young Scientist: aimed at students that recently obtained their M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees and are younger than 35. Scientist Program: focused on researchers that do not fit in the above categories.
Organised by WPSA Brasil (WPSA Brazilian branch) co-organized by FACTA (Apinco Foundation of Poultry Science and Technology) in partnership with Ubabef (Brazilian Association of Poultry Producers), the WPC 2012 will be held on August 5-9, 2012, in the Convention Center of Bahia, in Salvador. The event is back in Brazil after 34 years.
