Wyeth’s reports 12% increase in revenue
Wyeth’s global animal health division has reported a 12% revenue increase to $313 mln for the second quarter ending 30 June.
The increases were mainly due to higher sales of poultry products and livestock products, as well as the favourable impact of foreign exchange.
Overall, Wyeth reported net income of $1.12 bln on revenue of $5.95 bln for its second quarter, compared to net income of $1.2 bln on revenue of $5.65 bln in the year-ago period.
Year to date, the company reported a revenue increase of 6% to $590 mln.
