Agromars prepares for first poultry meat export to EU

Ukraine poultry producer Complex Agromars has finally received permission to supply poultry products to European Union markets and it actively preparing for a product launch in Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland, according to the press service of the company.

The company’s overall plans for 2014 is to develop the Customs Union (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan) markets. And then entre Middle East and Western Europe markets. Agromars has in recent years been exploring the use of halal technology and now actively uses it, giving it access to Muslims countries.

“Meat products of TM “Gavrilovskie chickens” are certified in accordance with European standards and requirements of the Muslim countries by “Bureau Veritas”, which confirms its compliance with all European safety and quality standards,” states the company’s report.

So far the company is exporting poultry products mainly to the Customs Union and Moldova. The company’s report says that in order to expand its geographic reach and its total export volume it is actively increasing production capacities.
