Aus: Steggles introduces new poultry meals

Australia’s 2nd-largest poultry producer, Bartter Steggles is serving up 9 new fresh meals, which are now available to consumers in Woolworths, Coles, Franklins and major independent supermarkets.

The new meals include: Gourmet Chicken Breasts, Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Stiry-fry with Vegetables, Chicken Wraps, Ready to Roast Chicken and Chicken Curry and Rice Kits.

Head of Marketing at Steggles Foods and Bartter Enterprises, Andrew Logan: “In developing this new range of fresh products we wanted to lend a helping hand to mums and dads across the country.”

The news comes following the successful launch of a range of Steggles branded products over the past 12 months.

The 9 new fresh meals:

Gourmet Chicken Breasts – Each tray contains two skinless breast fillets topped with a sauce and cheese. These are packed in an oven ready foil tray – a gourmet meal straight from the fridge to the oven. Available in 2 flavours: red pesto & mushroom.

Chicken Parmigiana – Steggles chicken parmigiana is a pub favourite. Each tray contains 2 crumbed chicken breast fillets topped with Napolitana sauce and cheese.

Chicken Stir-fry with Vegetables – Honey Soy – Steggles Chicken Stir-fry contains diced chicken breast marinated in honey soy, with a pouch of vegetables for a healthy meal. This easy meal solution makes for convenient home-cooking.

Chicken Wraps – Sweet Chilli – Steggles Sweet Chilli Chicken Wraps are a new addition to the Steggles Wraps range. Each pack contains 2 sweet chilli wraps with chicken fillet pieces and sweet chilli sauce, wrapped in a tortilla and topped with cheese.

Ready to Roast Chicken – Each tray of Steggles Ready to Roast Chicken contains a double fillet of chicken breast with a gourmet stuffing and flavoured sprinkle. In a foil tray, this succulent meal is ready to roast in the oven. Available in 2 flavours: Moroccan Cous Cous & Mushroom Risotto.

Chicken Curry and Rice Kits – Each tray of Steggles Chicken Curry & Rice Kit contains 400g of diced chicken breast marinated in a delicious curry sauce in one section of the tray, with a 250g pouch of SunRice microwavable rice in the other section. Available in two mild spice flavours, Butter Chicken & Rogan Josh.
