Aviagen EPI in the Netherlands attended the Venray Show LIV recently, building several new relationships and gathering a lot of interest in the slower growing Rowan Ranger bird and Ross Ranger bird.
Held for the last six years, the Venray Show LIV attracts both farmers and industrial partners, with an attendance over three days of around 20,000 visitors from the Netherlands and Belgium.
In addition to interest in the slower growing birds, the show also presented a good opportunity for Aviagen EPI to spend some quality time with Dutch customers old and new to discuss the exceptional performance of the Ross 308 in the country.
Henk Steenblik, Sales Manager, Aviagen EPI said: “Although the Venray Show is not a dedicated poultry show like some of the bigger European Expos, the more personal nature of it means we can get to spend plenty of time with people on our stand.
“Interest in the Rowan Ranger remains very high, especially in the Dutch market following our Beter Leven award and interest in the Ross Ranger is also growing. The traditional Ross 308 remains the market leader and bird of choice and it is great to hear so many people talking about the great performance they are getting.”
