Aviagen has launched a new pocket guide for the Arbor Acres, Indian River and Ross brands. The guide provides broilers farmers with practical information and serves as a managament tool in order to keep broilers under good nutritional and health conditions.
At around a third of the size of the handbook, the pocket guide consolidates the key management points of the Broiler Handbook into an on-farm tool, providing quick and practical reference and information. Page references to the handbook are provided throughout, should a farmer need more detail on a particular topic.
Nick French, Global Head of Technical Transfer, said: “We’ve created the Pocket Guide to summarise the best management practice for broilers kept under good nutritional, management, and health conditions, which are considered to be the most appropriate for achieving good broiler performance (live and through processing), health, and welfare. The Pocket Guides form part of Aviagen’s on-going strategy to provide straightforward, practical and easy to understand information for customers throughout the poultry breeding industry. They make extensive use of photographs and diagrams alongside concise material to allow farmers to access information quickly and easily.”
The Pocket Guide can be downloaded from the Aviagen website. Click here for Arbor Acres, Indian River or Ross.
