Baiada expands poultry production

Australian poultry giant, Baiada, has been given approval by Griffith’s Western joint regional planning panel for a $10 million dollar expansion of its Griffith hatchery.

Baiada Poultry Pty Limited is a privately owned Australian company which provides poultry products throughout Australia.

Their business operations are fully integrated, including broiler & breeder farms, hatcheries, processing plants, feedmilling and protein recovery. Products include sales of live poultry including breeding stock, poultry feed, fertile eggs, day old chickens, primary processed chicken (raw) and further processed chicken products and pet food.
Head office of Baiada is near Sydney. Other major operating centres are located in Brisbane, South Australia, Tamworth in northern New South Wales as well as throughout Victoria.
 
The Steggles umbrella brand of Baiada will expand its Hanwood hatchery shed, with construction expected to begin in the new year.
