On the 8th of October, Cobb Germany hatched its 100 millionth female Cobb 500 parent stock chick which was delivered to the broiler breeder farmer Mr Leszek Wasikowski.

Aldona van Krevel, Cobb Germany’s sales manager Poland and Ireneusz Rosada, Cobb Germany’s Technical Manager Poland were at the delivery to congratulate Mr Wasikowki on this historic moment. Ms Aldona van Krevel commented ”untill the last moment we were not sure where the 100 milionth female chick will be placed. But we are extremely happy that it was sent to Leszek Wasikowski – a better home it couldn’t find: the company is family owened and has a history of 47 years in poultry business! Leszek is the next generation.”

At the Eurotier agricultural show in Hanover on Wednesday 12th November in Hall 11 stand B60 Cobb Germany’s Director James Truscott will be presenting an award to Mr Wasikowski to highlight the spectacular growth of Cobb Germany’s German hatchery Wiesenena in the last 16 years and the fact that he received the 100 millionth hatched Cobb 500 female.

He comments ”We look forward to many visitors during our evening event at our stand, where we celebrate with some nice food, drink and good company made up of new and old friends from the poultry industry and naturally also team members from the hatchery itself, represented by Cobb Germany’s hatchery manager Mr Uwe Weidenmüller.
