Good turnout at 2008 IPE/IFE
Over 20,000 people from more than 100 countries attended the 2008 International Poultry Expo / International Feed Expo to see the latest products, services, and technology offered by 894 exhibitors.
This show, Regarded as the world’s largest trade shows for the poultry, egg and feed sectors, took place from January 23-25 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Domestic attendance went up by 559 people compared to the previous show, increasing to 16.043 attendees.
International visitors amounted to 3.986 people. The countries with the largest delegations were: Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela. Brazil and India added at least 50 delegates to their previous total.

U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, Which sponsors the International Poultry Expo.
Demographics reflect that 99.4% of the production of the major broiler companies, 92.4% of the production of the major commercial egg companies, and 92.3% of the production of the major turkey companies participated in the 2008 show.
Funds raised at the IPE are distributed back into the industry in the form of research, education, communications, and technical assistance.
The next IPE / IFE will take place from January 28-30, 2009, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
