Nutreco has completed the sale of its majority shareholding in Integra, Czech Republic, to Netherlands-based breeding company Hendrix Genetics. Hendrix Genetics already owned 34% of Integra.

Integra is a layer pullet and hatchery business and was part of Nutreco’s subsidiary Trouw Nutrition Biofaktory, the premix and specialty feed company acquired in the Czech Republic in 2008.

Integra, with Petr Krul as General Manager, becomes managerial part of the Poultry Distribution Division (PDD), under leadership of Laurent Taalbi, Hendrix Genetics says.

Integra a.s has been an active partner in the egg industry in the Czech Republic and for almost 20 years, producing ISA, BOVANS and HISEX commercial layers for intensive and alternative production. It owns 2 hatcheries, in Zabcice and Osek, and the related parent stock and rearing farms, with total annual capacity of ca. 12 mln layer day old chicks.
