Incubation and Fertility Research Group 2007
The IFRG meeting is drawing closer and you are now able to book your places and submit any research you would like to present at the conference.
There is a good line-up of speakers this year. There will be a diverse range of subjects this year, from science to the practical approach and rare to commercial breeds.
The topics to be covered include: The embryonic environment, Fertility, Incubation of different species and Collection and analysis of hatchery data.
Speakers include:
– Professor Patricia Monaghan from Glasgow University talking on incubation and embryonic development.
– Dr Annet Velthuis from Wageningen University in Holland addressing the subject “Epidemiological Field Study on Dutch Hatchery Data”.
– Sander Lourens looking at “Data collection for a hatchery monitoring system” from Wageningen University.
– Dr Glenn Baggott on “Carbonic anhydrases of the quail blastoderm”.
Other topics include the role of incubation in conservation and embryonic eye development in the chick.
There are still plenty of spaces available for those looking to share your research in either presentation or poster format.
