Managing incubation behaviour and broodiness
Incubation behaviour is one of the most costly management challenges in turkey breeding. Induced by interactions from the environment and the endocrine system, numerous management strategies have evolved to alleviate these detrimental effects that – in nature – are representative of a normal physiological state in turkeys.
