Distributor for Cobb in Scandinavia and the Baltic states, Blenta has signed an agreement which sees Lithuanian company Dovainoniu Paukstynas receive 100% of their broiler parent stock supply from Cobb. Dovainoniu Paukstynas is a subsidiary of the Nematekas food group.

“Dovainoniu Paukstynas is an important customer with whom we’ve collaborated for many years,” said Erika Tengvall Nilsson, business manager for Blenta.  “We’re delighted they have decided to rely on Cobb for all their parent stock. We wish them every success and look forward to building on our strong relationship with them for many years to come.”

Nematekas is a fully integrated business with production and broiler processing sites based in Lithuania, supplying many own brand products into the Baltic States, Scandinavia and Western Europe.

“The Cobb500 fits very well into our fully integrated business model, giving the combination of superior performance and efficiency in breeders, broilers and processing yield,” said Ovidijus Pilkis, executive director of Dovainoniu Paukstynas.

The strategic partnership between Cobb and Blenta has been running for more than 25 years and has been a successful relationship for both companies, with the Cobb500 integral to the success of mainly integrated markets with the region.
