The merger of Hubert CAIF and Ovopharm resulted in the plan to build a new Ovopharm hatchery of 4,500 square meters in Val de Reuil, France.

The new hatchery is designed for the production of eggs which will guarantee production of the flu vaccine Sanofi Pasteur.

The objective of the new facility is to build an advanced laboratory to better provide embryonated eggs for the production of vaccines against influenza.

Luc Paour, CEO of the company CAIF: “We decided to share our technical, scientific and financial skills and together build a new hatchery of 4500 square meters at the gates of laboratory.” iD Projects will supply a wide range of equipment including trolley unloaders, egg transfer equipment, egg tray stackers and de-stackers, and the iDvisio for early candling.

“The combination of our expertise and the creation of 50-50 OvoPharm have seemed obvious. In addition to savings in terms of logistics and supply security of Sanofi Pasteur, we will also triple our volumes by investing 2.5 million euros each,” says Luc Paour, who is also CEO of Ovopharm.
