Respiratory diseases in laying hens and broilers can cause considerable economic damage. Treatment of affected flocks is often a problem since many effective regimens must not be applied to laying hens, or the withdrawal times are too lengthy. Clinical symptoms, methods of detection and methods of prevention and treatment are described.
