PART 2: Respiratory diseases in chickens of non-viral origin

The first article of this two part series (published in WP 17/11) described various respiratory diseases of viral origin. Respiratory diseases can cause considerable economic damage. Treatment of affected flocks is often a problem. Therefore it is necessary to fully understand the clinical symptoms, methods of detection and prevention as well as treatment. In this part various non-viral causes of the disease are described.
