Russia: Poultry producers will demand more feed production

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has published a report, “Concept of development of poultry farming until 2020” that forecasts the consumption of feed resources for the next eight years.

 

According to official forecasts, in 2020 Russia is to produce 4.5 million tonnes of poultry meat, which will be about 26% more than in 2012.

The consumption of feed resources for the same period will increase by 21%, resulting that according to forecast Russian poultry farmers can slightly increase the rate of production efficiency.
