Gressingham Foods saw its Gressingham Duck on the official Royal wedding menu last Friday, confirming its duck as among the ‘best of British’.
Guests at the reception at Buckingham Palace were treated to food sourced from around the British Isles, which included Gressingham Duck from Suffolk. Served to 650 VIPs, over 10,000 canapes – all carefully sources from Royal Warrant-holding companies – were served at the reception.
William Buchanan, commercial managing director of Gressingham Foods says: “It’s a huge honour to see Gressingham Duck featured at the Royal wedding – especially as the menu was designed to showcase the best food that the country has to offer. To be part of such a special occasion and to have our duck recognised on a national level as a quality product is a great privilege.”
