Tesco, a large chain of supermarkets in the UK, is to relaunch its duck products under the Gressingham Foods label. The change will be implemented from the beginning of April.

The producer’s distinctive black and gold packaging has been tailored exclusively for Tesco, and features clearly-visible GDAs on the front as well as a recipe idea on the back. The store’s Gressingham Duck product range has also been extended with the addition of the Gressingham Half Duck (950g) and Mini Fillets (225g).

Commercial managing director, William Buchanan, comments: “There’s no greater indication of a brand’s strength than when a major retailer gives it premium positioning on the supermarket shelf. We’re delighted that Tesco has put its weight behind the Gressingham Duck brand and hope its customers continue to enjoy the unique taste of our product.”
