WPC2020 to be held in Paris
Paris has been chosen to host the 26nd World’s Poultry Congress on 2020.
The city was given preference over Berlin and Orlando. The election was held during the World Poultry Science Association’s Council meeting at the WPC2012 in Salvador, Brazil.
At the same meeting a new board was chosen. Prof Edir da Silva from Brazil, who succeeds Dr Bob Pym from Australia, will be president for the next four years till the 25th WPC in Beijing, China.
