The delegation of the Netherlands confirms the tremendous success of the participation in VIV Asia 2023 with high inspiration and connecting the Netherlands and Asia for a GloCal innovative and sustainable livestock industry.

‘The Netherlands-Asia Inspiration Forum’ brought together key Thai and Dutch experts to share their expertise on the latest GloCal (global & local) sustainable animal farming and was well attended by international audiences at the recent VIV Asia 2023.

“As a robust platform to connect global and local livestock industries and animal protein sectors, the Netherlands’ presence in VIV Asia 2023 successfully facilitated international knowledge-sharing and economic collaboration for the livestock industry. The Netherlands Agri & Food Topsector and our network in Thailand and Asia provide a strong commitment to delivering more innovative and sustainable animal protein systems and global food security,” said Gijs Theunissen DVM, the Dutch Agricultural Counsellor to Thailand.

Bangkok was back on the world livestock map from 8-10 March as the host country of VIV Asia 2023, one of the largest international trade shows dedicated to the global innovative and sustainable livestock industry, animal husbandry, veterinary & animal health, and animal protein sectors.

VIV Asia is the gateway to Asia’s emerging markets for animal agriculture production. With more than 1,200 international exhibitors (with 70 from the Netherlands), VIV Asia 2023 becomes a gateway for global professional livestock players with an array of species covering poultry, swine, egg, fisheries & aquaculture, dairy products, beef and more.

‘The Netherlands-Asia Connecting Reception’ powered by Dutch Poultry Center, VIV Worldwide and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, help connect Dutch companies with counterparts from Asia for the innovative and sustainable livestock system.
